I love my home and I am house proud but keeping things tidy is not one of my strengths. House work is an ongoing challenge for me. I felt it would be a good idea to face the New Year with a tidy home and embrace my my New Year's resolution of ' no excuses' so, I decided to spend a few days sorting things out. " Put away, give away or throw away" was my mantra. I have managed to sort out half the house so far and will continue with the rest of it over the school holidays. I already feel so much better for having spent some time getting things in order. Although it is pretty boring way to start the New Year, it an immensely satisfying one. I wonder how long the tidy home will last though...? Here are some of my Instagram shots , tracking my progress.

All our markets are done, all our orders have been posted out and now it is time to rest. My family and I are very much looking forward to camping in the bush and along the beach for a much of the holiday season - we can't wait! Sweet William has had a wonderful 2013! Thanks for all your lovely support over the  past 12 months and we will see you back here in 2014! My lovely Christmas decoration (from my instagram feed ) were picked up from poppies for grace . Wishing you all much joy! Paula and Shelley xxx

Shelley and Sweet William had a great time in London at Renegade , despite the rain and 3 hour tube trips! There were loads of amazing stall holders and Sonia from Layoutlines has done a lovely post all about the market here . These are Sonja's brilliant photos of the Sweet William stall. The next market for Sweet William will be back in Melbourne at Federation Square - Markit on Sunday the 24 of November. Pop in and say Hi!

My peonies at home on instagram Painted Peony available in our Etsy shop From my Instagram feed There is something about Peonies that just make me go weak at the knees... I think they are the most beautiful flower! I recently bought a big bunch for my home which led to a few instagram shots which led to another Peony illustration joining the other Sweet William Peony illustrations. I apologise, I seem to be besotted!

November is a big month for us at Sweet William as we gear up for lots of wonderful markets! We are super, duper excited to be part of the London Renegade Craft fair   for the very first time! Shelley will be showing our Sweet William wears on  November 9 + 10, 11am-6pm Old Truman Brewery  -  91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL  with over 100 other amazing stall holders (so wish I could be there..) Sweet William will also be at the Melbourne Design Market on Sunday November the 10th at Federation Square, in the car park. Here is a shot of my messy studio, which is were I will be spending a lot of time preparing! We love markets and love it when people pop over to say hello.
