New Work - pink, carnivals and balloons

I am having a pink ink moment! I have been working away in my studio with all sorts of shades of pink. A while a go I finished a pink painting, which is now in my lounge room and the pink continued - maybe it is Spring or maybe it is because I have three girls or maybe I just love the colour! I am busy on a few new images, here are three that have been listed as prints in etsy - Pink Ink Heart, The Carnival Comes to Town and Carnival Balloons. Pink is a very happy colour, isn't it?

My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The 'where there's tea there's hope' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!

Brighter Days = Brighter Colours

Here is a treasury I created in etsy - celebrating bight colours for Spring. These are all Australia Etsy sellers, links to these shops can be found here. Have a happy day!

Spring Cleaning

I am not the most organised person in the world and I have to admit, I quite like a bit of chaos. My home is lived in - there isn't a place for everything and everything isn't in it's place...But lately I find my self longing for a bit of simplicity, a bit of, dare I say it... organisation... I think the start of spring has bought on the urge to purge! I have started sorting out my studio, making big piles of things to chuck out, recycle, donate and it feels so good! Here are some pretty images of organised spaces that have been inspiring me. All links to these images can be found in my Pinterest boards. Happy Monday to you all, Paula x

Sisters Market - Brunswick Town Hall

Sweet William will be at Sisters Market on Saturday from 10 am until 4pm at Brunswick Town Hall, Sydney Road. If you are in the area, pop in and say hello. It has been a while since I have done a market, should be good!

Down that Little Lane

Down that Little Lane is a wonderful place to discover online - they sell a whole range of beautiful products from furniture to wallpaper, to stationary and gifts, including our Sweet william prints. Here are some products that have caught my eye. I have a bit of an aqua theme happening and I am particularly drawn to that rattan aqua bed head - so lovely!
