New Digital Downloads and a giveaway!

Image
Hello hello! Gosh can you believe we are heading towards the  end of the year and Christmas already? We love giving gifts and coming up with creative ways for wrapping gifts. That is why we have listed these pretty tags in our Etsy shop . They are digital downloads for your own personal use. For best results print onto thick matte craft paper (Canon do a great Matte Photo Paper in 170g/m), cut out with craft knife, round corners if you have a corner cutter and finally use a single hole punch to make a whole for your own pretty ribbon. Because we love gift giving so much we thought we would do a little give away! Simply leave a comment on our blog and you could be in line for receiving any 2 digital downloads for free! Giveaway open until Friday the 2nd November. UPDATE:  Congratulations - Two Cheecky Monkeys is the winner of our tag downloads!  Thank you all for playing and we wish we could have sent you all our new tags you are such a love...

Finders Keepers wrap up

Image
Wow Shelley and I had a fantastic weekend! Finders Keepers was brilliant, as always. Sweet William had a bigger stall this time so we had a few frantic days before hand trying to pull the set up together and we were very pleased with the results! We had new work and new A3 prints (which I will blog about another time)! Thanks to all the lovely people who come around to say hello and buy Sweet William prints, we had an excellent show. It was so lovely to see my sister again, we laughed so much we cried a lot, we talked, worked, ate, drank tea, laughed some more and spent a wonderfully relaxing day at the hot springs, on Sunday soothing our feet after all the hard work. Here are some shots, taken by husband, of Shelley and I at Finders Keepers.

The previous post was all about our new stall set up and here are a few shots of the finished stall at the last market Sweet William did. Now we are gearing up for Finders Keepers Melbourne , which is on this weekend at the Carlton Royal Exhibition building, Friday evening 6 until 10 pm and Saturday 10am until 5pm. We will be mixing it up again with new products, new prints and a larger stall - yay! My sister, Shelley, is coming out from NZ to help me. We are so excited - this amazing market is not to be missed! Do pop in and say hello, we always love to chat to our blog readers. P xxx

New Tea Time Print

New tea time print  Photo by Sharyn Cairns for Country Style Any who follows our blog or Sweet William artwork, may know that we are a little addicted to tea! Our ' where there's tea there's hope ' print has had so much lovely attention we decided to do a print to match. This new print says ' there's always time for tea '. No matter how rushed we are, life seems to slow down a little with a lovely, warm cup of tea in your hands...enjoy!

I have been working away in my studio with all sorts of shades of pink. A while a go I finished a pink painting, which is now in my lounge room and the pink continued - maybe it is Spring or maybe it is because I have three girls or maybe I just love the colour! I am busy on a few new images, here are three that have been listed as prints in etsy - Pink Ink Heart , The Carnival Comes to Town and Carnival Balloons . Pink is a very happy colour, isn't it?

My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

Image
I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
