illustration friday - 'strong'

The theme over at illustration friday this week is 'strong' and I couldn't get passed my first cup of tea that helps me function every morning, getting three little girls dressed and out the door on time for school, kinder and the day. I seem to draw lots of tea cups, ohh well, we heart tea - what would the world be with out it?

I just love the colours of this piece, so pretty.

I am not a tea drinker, but I have been told I can make a good brew.

I love your work Paula, its so pretty. i'm a chai tea addict, always having a break from my computer with a cup of sweet chai goodness! would love to have a chat with you one day about work.

My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
