Christmas at my house in full colour - decorations from Poppies for Grace Poppies for Grace were exhibiting along with us at the Big Design Market last weekend. They did the most impressive stall with a beautiful tissue paper backdrop in rainbow colours - and I thought what a brilliant idea for our Christmas decorations this year! Here are the results, what do you think?

I recently had the pleasure of a photographer and a journalist being in my home for an upcoming article (which I will post about once published). This gave me a great excuse for updating a few items in my home, spending hours styling it and putting out lots of lovely flowers. It was nice to have a pretty, clean and photo worthy home, even if only for a few hours! I took a few shots myself before it all returned to the normal mess. I recently purchased a new couch for our lounge - it is a turquoise velvet Chesterfield and I love it! We had a dark brown leather couch for ages, which was handy with very young kids in the house, but now that my children are old enough to mind where their dirty feet are going...I thought I would splash out on something I love! I have also had lots of fun filling my new couch with beautiful cushions. Now the only bit I have to worry about is stopping Bella the pugalier from jumping up on it! I am aware that as we long for signs of Spring down here in the Southern hemisphere, others are preparing for Autmn. This beautiful treasury, that incorporates our Home Sweet Home print, was created by Atelier Unomi on etsy and is entitled My Autumn Table. Enjoy.
