I recently purchased a new couch for our lounge - it is a turquoise velvet Chesterfield and I love it! We had a dark brown leather couch for ages, which was handy with very young kids in the house, but now that my children are old enough to mind where their dirty feet are going...I thought I would splash out on something I love! I have also had lots of fun filling my new couch with beautiful cushions. Now the only bit I have to worry about is stopping Bella the pugalier from jumping up on it! Had a spare half an hour this morning and so I popped into my local charity shop - wow it was so worth it! Here are some of my finds - the best one was the bedspread as it reminds me so much of my Gran's guest room, which I used to stay in every now and again as a little girl. Ahhh nothing like a good find at the charity shop to make my day! I have loaded some more images onto my flicker page too.
