Having fun with water colours

I got my water colour paints out and had a lovely time doodling some pretty backgrounds, creating patterns and working in all sorts of colours. I love the Windsor and Newton Cotman water colour palette that I picked up on my trip to the UK. I use a variety of brushes and am happiest with a large long haired brush and working quite loosely. Lots of fun!

My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
