Magical weekend away in Daylesford

My husband and I had a special treat of a weekend away, while the kids were with a friend. We had a wonderful time in Daylesford. We ate well, went for beautiful walks amongst the autumn trees, scratched around in junk shops and breathed in all the crisp country air. Highlights were buying a handmade Harris tweed hat from a lovely hat maker at the railway market, breakfast at the Larder, a drink at the Farmers Arms, dinner at the Lake House and buying thank you gifts at Cliffy's Emporium. Wow, it was very special! Here are a few shots of things we found on our travels. Happy Monday to you all, Paula x

My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
