new work - peony

Here is a photo of me drawing a big, beautiful, peony while on my visit to Shelley in New Zealand a few weeks ago (that's Shelley's other half, Jeremy in the photo). And then here is the print which I created from the drawing, when I got back to my studio which will be for sale in our etsy shop. My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
