All things nautical

I have been recently inspired by all things nautical - a little trend floating around at the moment. Camille ( the little red head character that I draw) finds herself all decked out in a sailors outfit and has taken to the seas in a blue and white striped tea cup. I have also worked on a water color drawing of an old ship perched on some very high sea with a little message blowing in the wind. (my prints are available to buy in our etsy shop) I have seen a few interesting nautical inspired bits and pieces on the web which I thought I would share: nautical wall paper; more nautical wall paper of old ship; dutch delft blue and white sailing ring; compass card vintage dictioanary art print; sailor vignette print. My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
