dressing table

My old dressing table is a nice little surface to play with and as they all say, 'a change is as good as a holiday' so if I am feeling a little bored with they way things are looking in my room, I just change the arrangement of a few things and that seems to do the trick. These objects are mostly all recent gifts from friends and family. Clever Shelley made the embroidered cubic necklace which I love.

Lovely! Isn't it funny how rewarding doing this kind of thing can be? Was just thinking a few of my setups are starting to bore me too. You've inspired me to tackle them now...

My Home in the October Country Style magazine!

I had Contry Style Magazine come and do a shoot at my home in May... a few months later and the issue finally hits the shelves. Yay! I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Sharyn Cairns took some wonderful photographs and captured our home beautifully, while Virginia Imhoff wrote a lovely piece about all the bits and pieces in our home and how much we have traveled etc. The ' where there's tea there's hope ' print got a big feature in the shoot and on the editors letter, which we are so pleased about and the orders have already coming rolling in. Ooooh I must say it is quite a thrill to see my own home and work in print, I am most flattered!
